This list is not put together in any sort of order other than the release date. It’s a list that I’ve compiled from various searches I’ve done for some of the most anticipated books for August 2021.
For all Charlie O’Malley has been told, they had a cure for the rare blood condition that would eventually kill her – an untested, experimental cure. All they wanted in return was for her to join their elite military team and train to kill the Undead. The only reason she went through with it was, not that she cared so much about extending her life, but because it would make her strong–stronger than ordinary humans. Strong enough to kill the vampire who’d pretended to love her, taken her blood, used her body, and murdered her mother.
Payne, twin sister of Vishous, is cut from the same dark, seductive cloth as her brother. Imprisoned for eons by their mother, the Scribe Virgin, she finally frees herself-only to face a devastating injury. Manuel Manello, M.D., is drafted by the Brotherhood to save her as only he can-but when the human surgeon and the vampire warrior meet, their two worlds collide in the face of their undeniable passion. With so much working against them, can love prove stronger than the birthright and the biology that separates them?
For Bella Swan, there is nothing more important to her than that of Edward Cullen. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just the beginning.

Rehvenge is used to living in the shadows and dealing with the roughest nightwalkers around – including those within the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Especially after his sister, Bella, is mated to one. His fearless reputation is why he’s approached by one of his kind and asked to kill the race’s king, and his bad side, the symphath side, is dying to be released and rise to the occasion. As his secret identity is threatened, he turns to the only light in his ever-darkening world – a female civilian vampire untouched by the corruption and the only thing that stands inbetween him and eternal destruction.
Phury has sacrificed himself for the good of the race, becoming the male responsible for keeping the Brotherhood’s bloodlines alive. As Primale of the Chosen, he is obligated to father the sons and daughters who will ensure that the traditions of the race survive, and that there are warriors to fight those who want all vampires extinguished. As his first mate, the Chosen Cormia wants to win not only his body, but his heart for herself. She is drawn to the noble responsibility behind the emotionally scarred male. But Phury has never allowed himself to know pleasure or joy. As the war with the Lessening Society grows grim, tragedy looms over the Brotherhood’s mansion, and Phury must decide between duty and love.
The ruthless and brilliant brother Vishous possesses a destructive curse and a frightening ability to see the future. Butch O’Neal is a fighter by nature. A hard-living ex-homicide cop, he’s the only human ever to be allowed in the inner circle of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. And he wants to go even deeper into the vampire world—to engage in the turf war with the lessers. He’s got nothing to lose. His heart belongs to a female vampire, an aristocratic beauty who’s way out of his league. If he can’t have Marissa, then at least he can fight side by side with the Brothers…
J. R. Ward’s third entry in the fabulous Black Dagger Brotherhood vampire series (Dark Lover, Lover Eternal) is “all adrenaline all the time,” starting from page one. Again, we are back in Caldwell, New York, where a deadly street war continues between the Black Dagger Brotherhood, a band of six vampire warriors, and their enemies. One warrior, Zsadist, is perhaps the fiercest; with his scarred face and shaven skull, he looks like the Grim Reaper, if the Reaper were packing a small arsenal! Not even his twin, Phury, can understand Zsadist’s obsession with finding the beautiful Bella, an aristocratic civilian abducted six weeks earlier by the evil Lessening Society.
